Dominating the odds in his lead up to the 2010 Pago Pago Stakes was Hinchinbrook who will now have blinkers, after finishing third.
Coming in second spot was Blackball, who ran impressively after starting from the wide tenth barrier, and finished three lengths behind Brightexpectations to exceed the colt’s odds.
Elsewhere, Pressday had come into the 2010 Pago Pago Stakes as a hopeful, but finished in a relatively disappointing seventh.
Also taking place on Saturday at the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse was the Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (1200m) – which saw a tough battle between winner Zabrasive and runner up Rock Classic, the Group 2 Ajax Stakes (1500m) and the Group 2 Magic Night Stakes.
